With or without sharkmouth, the P-40 will always be a really smart and elegant plane, to my view.
If Im not wrong, this was previously painted in a US ARMY scheme (that shark mouth seems familiar to me...) It was a very good idea re-painting it in a desert camouflage; but if Im not wrong, this scheme (with that checkered tail) tries to imitate that wore by some American Merlin-powered P-40Fs in Nortth Africa; and those P-40s didnt wore shark mouths...

actually, this one here was in RAF markings but still in the North Africa camo pattern. I have a picture of it that i took in April 09 in RAF markings

They had 3 at Wings Over Wine Country this year, did not make it this time, but will for sure next August! :D
