Nice shot. That looks like a Navy plane in USAF colors. The A-1H didn't have a door on the port side.

hum....I heard someone at the museum say it was an AD-4N, and seeing as that one was a three seat night attack aircraft, I'm starting to think that would be it

Sounds about right. They had the radar operators in the compartment in the fuselage.

uh well, its not a jet. but yes, the Skyraider was called the "Flying Dumptruck" for a reason
