"Tora! Tora! Tora!" is also a great 70's war classic.

I think it's more entertaining and more historically accurate than Michael Bay's "Pearl Harbor".

They used lots of real aircraft and real explosions, fires, smoke fogs and many other pyrotechnics instead of CGI and yet for that times the visuals were breathtaking.

yeah all of em were converted T-6s and BT-13s. heh no zeros, vals, or kates flying at the time

Nice pic! They did a jolly good job on the conversion, you have to look really carefully to notice anything!

heh yeah, the wings and stabilizers are the only things that really give it away, they even gave it a three bladed prop
