Argh.” His aircraft shook violently after getting hit with an X-4 missile. “Forget this, I’m getting the hell out of here” yelled Leon. “For once I agree with you” said Falco. They all boosted out of the area quickly loosing the fighters except one.
It was a Luftwaffe Ho-192 supersonic jet fighter. It was an all black machine with yellow, red and orange lightning bolts down the side of the tail. It was part of a special squadron called Nemesis. They had the most experienced pilots in the Luftwaffe and were issued the most advanced equipment. The Horten was flown by the Luftwaffe’s best pilot, Erich Krieger. The Horten got in behind Krystal. Krieger fired an X-4 missile at her. He flew the missile straight up Krystal's jet pipe. Her engine was completely totaled. “Ah, Fox, I can’t keep my Arwing airborne, I have to eject" yelled Krystal. She pressed the eject button. The cockpit section of her Arwing blasted away form the rest of the aircraft. The braking chutes deployed and slowed the capsule. "Argh, damn" yelled Fox.
"Hello, Krieger." It was Shelby. He was in his Bv-215. It was in full burner and screaming to wards them with two Lockheed L-133 super sonic fighters trailing him. "Hello my American friend. You’re just in time to join me for my 143rd kill" said Krieger over the radio. "You’re going to pay for what you just did Krieger. I’m going to make sure you regret that. Fox, you guys just sit back and watch. You might learn something from this. Aaron, Kim, stay back, his ass is mine" said Shelby. "Ok you American fool, if you are so eager to die then you shall have you wish" said Krieger.
Shelby engaged his after burner and went full throttle towards Krieger. They shot past each other going over 980 mph and went opposite directions. Shelby went into a nearly 7 G turn to starboard and a 45 degree climbing turn. Krieger did an Immelman turn and tried to get behind Shelby. He fired a burst at him as he went by but he was going to fast and missed completely. "Damn, look at em go, I think this is gonna become a stalemate." exclaimed Falco. Krieger was now behind Shelby. But Shelby shot an X-4 in front of his aircraft and steered it behind him and hit Krieger with it. Unfortunately, it failed to explode. Krieger shot a burst with the Mk-108 cannon that hit Shelby’s wing. The shells took out the hydraulics in the aircraft and put it into a spin. But Shelby recovered and climbed to get above him. Krieger then followed Shelby. But Shelby’s aircraft stalled and he plummeted downward. Krieger cut the throttle and followed him. Shelby deployed his dive brakes and Krieger shot by him. Then Shelby fired a 4 second burst into Krieger’s aircraft. "Damn you American fool" cursed Krieger as he plummeted towards the ground burning all the way.
"God damn, I can't keep her airborne. I'm gonna have to eject. Get the hell out of here you guys; I’ll meet you back at base." Shelby then pulled the ejection handle. The canopy blew away and his seat shot out of the aircraft. His radar operator and his gunner followed. "Wow, what a stupid way to escape the aircraft" said Wolf. "I guess they haven’t thought of an ejection system like ours yet." said Fox. Shelby opened his parachute. His gunner and RIO did the same. "I think I know where they are going to land." said Fox. "Ok, we'll land there and look for Krystal." said Slippy.
